Leadership Track.
This is a brand new track in 2020.
The Purpose of the Leadership Track is for students to participate in a short-term ministry project from Start to Finish.
Students will work side by side with track directors, MBC staff and volunteers as they learn what it take to plan and run a short-term ministry project.
Students in this track will help to craft the Vision Statement, define mission and purpose, work on the website, help with registration forms, work with various faculty members and assist with other important tasks.
Student leaders represent various campuses and serve as Liya Camp Ambassadors to the church body and the community.
Requirements:
High School Students (younger students with rare exceptions)
Attended at least one Liya camp in the past, or new to area
Be available for weekly leadership meetings (online)
Be available for monthly leadership meetings (at Tysons Campus)
Successful interview
Attend McLean Bible Church, or have a close connection with MBC
Agree to work within the Leadership structure (sign team Covenant)
Be available to act in a leadership capacity during all Liya Camp 2020 activities.
Special Project:
Leadership Track students will propose and vote on a Special Project. More information about this project is coming soon.
